Baton Rouge River Center
Phase 1 — Expanded 200,000 sq ft, $32 Million new and renovated facilities in the location of the former Centroplex, incorporating state-of-the-art exhibit, meeting, concession, and kitchen facilities. The design integrates regional architectural elements, such as exterior shutters, deep sunlight filtering exterior spaces, and double-height porticos. These design elements are evident in the grand main lobby as well as the exterior second-floor veranda that takes advantage of views of the Mississippi.
Phase 2 — Expanded 70,000 Sq Ft, $16 Million new and renovated space to support the city’s growing demand for the Convention Center. Enhancements to the facility include additional meeting space, improved visitor circulation, and improved entry/access to the facility.
